With Queso Cup XXIII shrinking in the rearview mirror (although rumors persist that the Team Masley victory party is still rocking greater Gaylord, MI), we turn our attention to the 2025 addition, Queso Cup XXIV which is set to return to The Horseshoe Bay resort (www.hsbresort.com) on December 5-7, 2025. For Queso Cup veterans who were around for the 20th edition of this historic event, you'll remember Horseshoe Bay as being our 'winter destination' event back in December of 2021. We had a great experience then and are looking forward to another amazing Queso Cup weekend in Central Texas this December.

 

Our 2025 field is mostly set at this point and, per usual, Team Masley and Team Lambert will once again face off for the coveted Queso Cup.  With their victory last year, Team Masley has taken a 9-7 advantage over Team Lambert since the Ryder Cup style format was introduced back in 2008.

About Horseshoe Bay Resort

Horseshoe Bay resort is located in Marble Falls, TX which is just over an hour drive from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport and about 90 minutes from San Antonio International Airport. You can also do a fly-drive through Dallas or Houston with the 'drive' portion of those trips being between 3.5 and 4 hours. Please plan your travel to arrive at the resort no later than 11:30am on Friday, December 5 to accommodate our early afternoon shotgun start for round 1. Also, please do your best to schedule your resort departure time for no earlier than 1:30p on Sunday so you can get your entire 4th round in before you go. 

 

The resort is a large property and the clubhouses we will be using will be a short drive away from our accommodations. We'll provide you with all of that information before the event. Please, as always, plan to get everywhere you need to be a little early. We are blessed again this year to be using shotgun starts for all four rounds which will help us significantly with maximizing our short-daylight windows. Being locked and loaded when we caravan to our shotgun starting holes is a must and is much appreciated.
